What a wonderful surprise for the kids to wake up to a blanket of snow covering the ground. We usually see snow about once a year here in St. George. Waking up to a winter wonderland the day before the kids had to go back to school was quite a bonus to the holiday season!
The kids had so much fun using up the snow in their own yards, they even asked the neighbors if they could use their snow. They are having a blast. Sometimes the simple things in life are what make life great. No electronics in sight!

Kim! You need to give yourself a break! YOU are such a great writer, journalist and photographer. I love reading your blog. You are making me feel guilty again that I sent my girls to school that day:) I totally robbed them of the only snow day of the year. Glad you documented it:)
