Happy 14th Birthday Abby.
Bailey and Abby waiting to open presents.
I'm not sure if Abby is going to check out what is inside the box or throw it like a football.

2011 - Happy 19th Birthday Kelsee!

Kelsee got her mom's hand me down iphone.  She was excited even though it wasn't the latest and greatest phone on the market.  It was a pretty great gift.

Forever Sisters!

2011 - Thriller!

Before Halloween, Abby and her two friends, Paige and Savannah, convinced us to take them to Thriller at Tuachan.
...creepy!
Abby is watching their backs.  The zombies liked to sneak up and freak them out.

2011 - Band Performance

Megan, Abby, Tressa and Sarah and the fall band concert 2012.
Abby will be playing the flute again this year.

2011 - New York!

Jared and I took a trip to New York this fall.  We have never been and decided to go over fall break so Kelsee could come home from college and watch the kids.
We took the Staten Island Ferry to take a peek at the Statue of Liberty.  We didn't take the time to go on a tour since we had a limited number of days in New York.
The view of New York coming back from Staten Island.

The Empire State Building.
This is one of the views a top The Rockefeller Center - "The Rock"
Waiting to see my favorite musical of all times....WICKED!  I will never tire of seeing this show.
We also saw Spider-man...Jared's pick.  It had a few neat special effects but not one I will pay to see again.

Times square at night.

Central Park.  I knew it was massive but my idea of walking around to check it all out would have taken too much time.  We saw the highlights.  Next time, I think it would be fun to rent a bike.
We visited the 911 memorial.  It amazed me how many times we had to go through a security checkpoint before we could even go inside.  A lot more secure than the airport.  In fact, I didn't realize this until almost too late, but tickets needed to be reserved ahead of time.  We were lucky to finally get tickets.  To be there was humbling.
We took the subway into Brooklyn to eat at a highly recommended pizza place.  The line was super long, and we had no idea of the wait so we opted to eat somewhere else.  We (mostly Jared ;-) are impatient people.  After we finished eating we headed to the Brooklyn bridge.  We walked across it to take in this cool bridge and get a few good pictures.  Unfortunately, it was super crowded.  The city was having a breast cancer awareness walk and there were hundreds of people in pink walking on the bridge.  Not to mention, the bikers and construction.  I tried to get a couple of good pictures but between the high "people" traffic and the wind, it was nearly impossible.
Rockefeller Plaza
Radio City Music Hall
Grand Central Station
We did so much walking in New York, Jared wore his shoes right out.
I can't wait to go back!

2011 - Stahli Farm

The Little Valley 1st graders field trip to Stahli Farms.
