4th of July festivities

For the 4th of July weekend, we decided to head up north.  We first went to the Orem Owlz baseball game.  The setting was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
The next day we headed to Lagoon.  Surprisingly, Lagoon was not very busy so the kids enjoyed riding all the rides as many times as their stomaches and heads would tolerate.

End of 4th Grade - Maddy

It's the last day of school and Maddy wanted to do something special for Ms. Jensen.  We found this idea in the Family Fun magazine.  It turned out pretty cute.  Maddy will miss Ms. Jensen.  She was awesome!

Summer Fun

School is out and summer is officially here!  Summer is all about hanging out with friends, imagination, fun and relaxing.  It looks like the kids have it figured out!
How many kids can we fit inside a hot tub???
Just chillin'

Desert Hills High School Graduation

IT'S HERE....GRADUATION DAY 2011
It's hard to imagine this day has arrived.  I have heard people say this many times, but it is so true...."Enjoy them while they are young, they will be gone before you know it!"  I believe it now!  Eighteen years ago, Kelsee came into our family.  She has brought so much joy to us and is such a great person. She is the most dedicated and determined person I know.  Kelsee, you will be able to achieve anything you want in life.  The sky is the limit!

After graduation, we had a celebration for Kelsee back at the house.  The seniors had planned a trip and were headed to California for a few days.  Kelsee ate dinner and left in a hurry to make it to the bus on time.  They went to Disneyland, California Adventure, Ripley's Believe it or Not Wax Museum, had a dinner cruise in the bay and spent some time on the beach.

Senior Awards Night

Graduation is just around the corner.  I can't believe Kelsee will be finishing up high school.  We attended the Scholarship and Awards Evening for her school.  She received a scholarship to Southern Utah University as well as the Utah Regents Scholarship.  Kelsee has worked hard in school and is so deserving of both of these scholarships.

Great Job Kelsee!
