2011 - Madison Choir Performance

Maddy is part of the Little Valley Elementary choir. They were able to perform at Tuachan along with 9 other schools. The schools did an opening number and a closing number together. In between, each school performed a western song. The kids were very entertaining and fun to watch.

Kelsee swam the 100 breaststroke. She gave it her all. We are so proud of the dedication and perseverance she has given to her sport. She was amazing!

State Swim Championships were held at BYU in Provo. Kelsee was chosen to be part of the 3A Academic All State Team for swim. She was recognized at State. The girls chosen had a combined GPA of 3.983.

Happy New Year!

What a wonderful surprise for the kids to wake up to a blanket of snow covering the ground. We usually see snow about once a year here in St. George. Waking up to a winter wonderland the day before the kids had to go back to school was quite a bonus to the holiday season!

The kids had so much fun using up the snow in their own yards, they even asked the neighbors if they could use their snow. They are having a blast. Sometimes the simple things in life are what make life great. No electronics in sight!

This is the BEST kind of snow! Great for making a snowman (or woman).

Bailey and her "mini me" snow girl. She said, "Come look mom. It's just my size." She was so proud of her creation, I just had to snap a picture. Look at her smiling from ear to ear.

Senior Ball 2011

Kelsee was asked to senior ball by a boy on her swim team. She isn't much for frills so finding a simple dress that was "dressy" posed a little bit of a challenge. With a little help from a friend, we found a beautiful dress. She looked gorgeous!

2010 - General Conference

This past October, all the seniors from our Stake were invited to attend the afternoon session of the LDS General Conference. They left bright and early Saturday morning. We are so blessed to live close enough to attend General Conference on occasion. What a great opportunity for all of the kids who were able to attend.
