HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY ABBY!

Abby recently turned 12 years old. It feel as if time is starting to move faster as my children are growing up. It seems like just the other day, Abby would want to snuggle up to me on the couch, suck her thumb and drift off to sleep....now I embarrass her and make her life miserable....I try ;)
Abby's room got toilet papered thanks to some sneaky Beehives! :)
Blowing out the candles...count em.....12!!
Opening presents and enjoying her sisters. We took Abby to the Brick Oven for her birthday dinner and I made an ice cream cake roll for her cake. She received scrapbook and crafting items for her birthday. She loves making stuff.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY....WE LOVE YOU!!

A daughter is love in a bright pink bow
A bundle of happiness all aglow
A tomboy in jeans with a tear streaked face
Crying because she has just lost a race.
Then all of a sudden, no longer small,
She's a vision of loveliness dressed for a ball
A dreamer, a schemer, no two days the same
What is a daughter...It's more than a name
She's a pleasure, a treasure, a comfort each day
Loving and sweet in her own special way
She's a sense of contentment felt deep inside
Bringing a lifetime of pleasure and pride!

KICKS SOCCER - ABBY

Abby's team finished playing their last game right before Thanksgiving. Abby has played soccer since she was five. Her favorite position is defending the goal. She has a strong kick and makes sure the ball stays away from her team's goal.

KICKS SOCCER - MADDY

Madison loves playing soccer. Her team ended their season the weekend before Thanksgiving. She was the youngest on her team but didn't let that stop her from playing hard. She loves soccer and likes all the positions except for goalie (too much pressure or boring depending on the team they play).

Disneyland & California Adventure

During fall break we took a trip to California. This is the first year in a very long time we were able to go on the majority of the rides as a family. Bailey even went on the Tower of Terror (my least favorite ride).
Kim's Favorite ride: Soarin' Over California (am I getting old?) ;)
Jared's favorite ride: He didn't have a favorite but was a good sport to go on Screamin' multiple times in a row.
Kelsee's favorite ride: California Screamin' :O
Abby's favorite ride: California Screamin'
Maddy's favorite ride: California Screamin'
Bailey's favorite ride: She keeps saying Tower of Terror but she didn't want to go on it a second time. :)

BEAUTY IS the Imagination of a child

This year for Reflections, the theme was Beauty Is....
Madison entered the photography category with this picture of Bailey. The title of her photo was Beauty is the imagination of a child. Bailey loves to dress up so Maddy had her get all dressed up and had Bailey pose.
Along with four other children, Maddy won an award. Her photo will now be sent on to district.
Good job Madison!

Happy Birthday Kelsee - October 28

Happy Birthday Kelsee...This makes 17!
Kelsee is a junior this year at Desert Hills High School. This year in school she is taking some pretty hard classes. She amazes me with her dedication to do well in school as well as anything she sets her mind to do. She is very talented. She loves to play the violin and piano. She is taking a drawing class this year and has drawn some really awesome pictures. She also loves to swim. If she is not doing homework or hanging out with friends, she is at swim practice. It seems like yesterday when she was just learning to crawl and just around the corner she will be heading off to college...makes me feel old!
Love ya Kelsee!
Opening presents...
I'll just have one bite....
Kelsee picked Samauri 21 for her birthday dinner.
free birthday dessert...yummy!
